from a cliff 30.8 m high. At the level of the
sea, a rock sticks out a horizontal distance of
10.43 m.

With what minimum horizontal velocity

      s(t) = (1/2)9.8t²
      30.8 = 4.9t²
      t = 2.5 s

      horizontal distance of 10.43 m.= vt
      10.43 = 2.5 v
      v = 10.43/2.5 m/s
