Cabo San Lucas vs Acapulco?

My cousin and I are planning a trip for Jan 2007 and we’re trying to decide between Los Cabos and Acapulco. We’ve both been to Cancun several times and loved it but we’re looking to expand our horizons a bit. Beaches and attractive views are a plus but our real interest is nightlife. Any information as to how to get around in these areas would be helpful.

Acapulco the girls and invited lot of hollywood stars and loved it cabo has better sights nice nightlife is ok but thats about it even stars like travolta threw party in cabo one time and also the nightlife and guys from laguna beach went there to acapulco.
